A New Life Together

A little over 4 years ago middle son and wife got married out of state (long story) then moved down here in with us for a while until they could get their own place (or we could find one for them, which is actually what happened); I was impressed with him, we took a Sunday paper up there, wait a minute, how did we do that? maybe from the week before, anyway on the way back down later that week he found a job, called about it, and got an interview scheduled for the next day and got the job. Remember this was after? the crash, maybe though right before but nonetheless he kept the job as long as he wanted it even through weeks – not all at once – off, etc., of course it was one of those mostly commission sales type but still there was a base salary. However, that’s not really the place this is going. Turned out she/they – however you say it these days –  wound up getting “expecting” almost immediately – not what we were expecting, maybe should have been, but anyway. Now remember we’d just brought her down here away from her family in August with her having asthma so bad she’d been hospitalized over the summer for it with no central air and no air in their room, should have thought, oh my, anyway. But really on top of all that was her mother but I’m not going there now – we’ll see about that another time

I'm a transplant, born up north but raised in the middle, now I'm down here where you don't see too many snowflakes; I'll probably post just about as often (here at least)
